Worship
At First Baptist, we have two Sunday morning services:
The Ace service is at 9:30 am and is more traditional in nature and usually led in worship by our Quartet singers or a variation thereof. Most of the music in this service are hymns or traditional choruses.
The Deuce service is at 11 am and is more contemporary. This service is led in worship by a more diverse group of worship teams. Most of the music in this service are contemporary praise & worship songs and choruses.
Children’s ministry is near to our heart as we value an intergenerational approach to the life of a believer. During the 9:30 hour we have children’s education classes for K-6, a fully staffed preschool department, and a growing youth ministry. During the 11:00 hour we provide preschool for the younger children, but encourage youth and children to attend the worship services with their parents. This is because we believe it is the obligation and privilege of the entire faith community to worship together and in the process teach our children how to worship.
